How AI photo enhancement works
Traditional sharpening filters only amplify edge contrast — they cannot recover detail that was never captured. Our restoration engine uses generative models trained on millions of photo pairs to understand what a sharp version of your image should look like. Faces regain natural skin texture, text becomes readable, and faded contrast is rebuilt from contextual clues.
Old photo restoration, free and private
Scanned prints from family albums often suffer from fading, scratches and low resolution. Upload a scan or even a phone snapshot of the print: the AI removes blur, recovers facial detail and balances tones. Your photos are processed in memory and deleted automatically — we never use personal photos for model training.
